Do you offer free estimates?
Estimates are Free. Customer provides us with details and pictures of the project, and I'll provide you an estimate price compared to similar projects I have done.
Needing an in-person estimate? In person consultations require an assessment deposit starting at $60. This deposit is applied as a credit toward your project should you choose to move forward with the project in the next 30 days.
Do you work on electrical and plumbing?
There are limitations. Replacing an existing ceiling fan, a light bulb, a light fixture, a smoke detector, a sink, a faucet, a garbage disposal, etc., yes.
Anything that requires adding additional plumbing pipes, or electrical wiring, outlets/switches, breakers, etc., no. Those types of requests will need to be performed by a licensed expert of your choice.
Do you perform large renovations or full remodeling projects?
I do not. My focus is small to medium size projects.
Do you work at a flat rate or hourly?
Most projects are priced by the job rather than by the hour.
What is an Estimate?
No materials are included in the cost estimates. We can work together on what materials (if needed) you are purchasing and having me install or assemble. In certain situations, I may be purchasing the materials and delivering for reimbursement at cost(includes sales tax). Note: This will add labor cost to the estimate.
NOTE: If it is determined that the repair should really be a replacement, the customer will cover the additional time & material costs(includes sales tax). *Example: the sink p-trap is so rusted it cannot be re-used/repaired while installing a new sink; a new p-trap will need to be purchased and installed.
Do you have insurance?
“Just Call Dad Handyman Services” is a DBA for Level Up Services LLC company. In the event of a chance something happens, Level Up Services LLC carries comprehensive general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 coverage.
